The View menu contains functions to manage the view options of SimpleFont.

Name: Main Toolbar
Menu: View | Main Toolbar
Shortcut: Alt + V , T

Use the main toolbar to show / hide the main toolbar. The main toolbar contains the basic function buttons like: New Project, Open, Save.

Name: Line texts
Menu: View | Line texts
Shortcut: Alt + V , L

Use Line texts to show / hide the basic guidelines (Horizontal and Vertical Baseline, Advance Width and the Line Gap words) of the character edit window.

Name: Capital and small letter height lines
Menu: View | Capital and small letter height lines
Shortcut: N/A

Use Capital and small letter height lines to show / hide the additional guidelines (Capital and small letter height lines) of the character edit window.

Name: Character cell headers
Menu: View | Character cell headers
Shortcut: Alt + V , C

Use Character cell headers to specify how to display characters in the headers of the character select window.

• Choose Faces to show glyph of the characters.
• Choose Unicode indices to show the Unicode index of the characters.

Name: Pattern selector

Use Pattern selector to specify the listing mode of patterns in patterns window.

• Choose Icon view style to show patterns in the pattern selector window tabular format.
• Choose List view style to show patterns in the pattern selector list format.

Name: Change pattern color
Menu: View | Change pattern color
Shortcut: Alt + V , P

Use Change pattern color to select the pattern color. This option is useful if you are using a background image. For example: if you are working with a colored background bitmap with green areas. If you select green as trace color, then Simplefont will trace the green areas. Trace color could be set exactly with the Toolbar|Trace color tool by clicking on the requested area of the background image.

Use Change superpixel color to select the superpixel color. (Read more about superpixels in tutorial 4.)

Name: Change background font color
Menu: View | Change background font color
Shortcut: Alt + V , B

Use Change background color to select the color of the font you imported as a background.

Name: Change trace color
Menu: View | Change trace color
Shortcut: Alt + V , T

Use Change trace color to select the trace color you want to use to trace an object. This color can be set precisely with the Toolbar|Trace color tool.

Use Change selection color to define the color of the selected patterns and superpixel elements.

Use Tile windows to choose the tile layout of the working windows of SimpleFont.
