The font menu contains the font setting funtions of the program.
Name: Superpixelate all Menu: Font | Superpixelate all... Shortcut: N/A
If you want to add super pixel elements automatically to the whole font, use the Font | Superpixelate all... command. It lets you extend your font with four different kinds of super pixels:
- Level 1 superpixels are attached to one side of a normal pixel
- Level 2 superpixels are attached to two neighbouring normal pixels
- Level 3 superpixels are attached to three neighbouring normal pixels
- Level 4 superpixels are attached to four neighbouring normal pixels

Use Font | Output options to specify the following TTF settings of the exported font.
Font names:
- Copyright notice (The copyright string from the font vendor. E.g.: Copyright the Programprodukt, 2006)
- Font family name (You can see it in font selection lists of applications)
- Font family subname (for purposes of definition, this is assumed to address style (italic, oblique) and weight (light, bold, black, etc.) only. A font with no particular differences in weight or style (e.g. medium weight, not italic and fsSelection bit 6 set) should have the string "Regular" stored in this position. E.g.: bold)
- Unique font identifier (A unique identifier that applications can store to identify the font being used. E.g.: Pixelfont: myfont01 bold:2006)
- Full font name (You can see it in font installation windows)
- Version string
- Postscript name (The name the font will be known by on a PostScript printer. E.g.: myfont-bold)
- Trademark
Stem quality
- On the Stem Quality tab you can choose if you want to create a continuous shape connected from the patterns, or let the characters build of separeted patterns.
Customization
- You can decide to export just the basic square patterns of the characters, or to export without superpixeles.
- Optimal font size means the size in wich your font will be sharp and crisp on the monitor. This value is normally 8 point at pixelfonts.

Font | True type options lets the expert users set up many parameters of the font project. Any changes in these settigs can affect the font in such a way that it will not show up correctly in an application. To get get more information about these settings feel free to contact us.
Name: Auto adjust lines Menu: Font | Auto adjust lines... Shortcut: N/A
Font | Auto adjust lines is a very useful tool to set guideline positions automatically.
- To update the kerning (advance width) of your characters, check the advance width checkbox, specify the desired distance between the rightmost pattern of the character and the Advance width (kerning) line, and push the ok button. SimpleFont will automatically update the position of the kerning line of all the characters of your font project.
- To update the line spacing (line gap) of your project, check the line gap checkbox, specify the desired distance between the topmost pattern of the character and the line spacing (line gap) line, and push the ok button. SimpleFont will automatically update the position of the line gap line.
- To update Caps-height of your project, check the Caps-height checkbox and SimpleFont will update the Caps-height to the height of capital H.
- To update the x-height of your project, check the x-height checkbox and SimpleFont will update the x-height to the height of small x.
To update the Caps-height and x-height values here if you turn on he visibility of these lines in the View menu.

Font | Replace patterns is useful if you want to make variations of your font design by using different patterns. Select the pattern you want to change in the left window (Available patterns to be replaced from), and select the desired pattern in the right window (All useable patterns to be replaced to).

Font | Swap patterns works similar to Font | Replace patterns, the only different is that it is exchanging patterns included the project.
Name: Test font Menu: Font | Test font Shortcut: N/A
Use Font | Test font to test your font without exporting and installing it onto your computer. Just write text you want to see into the text box the and check out the result below. This is a perfect way to controll the kernings.
Name: Install font Menu: Font | Install font Shortcut: N/A
Use this menu item to install your font onto your computer. Just fill out the name strings and specify the Windows / Fonts folder.
