Name: Edit menu
Shortcut: Alt + E

The Edit menu contains the general undo, select and copy/paste functions of SimpleFont.

Name: Undo
Menu: Edit | Undo
Shortcut: Ctrl + Z

Use Edit | Undo to undo your last commands. There is unlimited number of commands you can undo in SimpleFont.

Name: Select all character points
Menu: Edit | Select all character points
Shortcut: Ctrl+A

Use Edit | Select all character points to select all pixels and superpixels in the active character editor window.

Name: Deselect
Menu: Edit | Deselect
Shortcut: Ctrl + D

Use Edit | Deselect to deselect all selected objects in the active character editor window.

Name: Copy
Menu: Edit | Copy
Shortcut: Ctrl + C, Ctrl + 2…9

Use Edit | Copy to copy selected objects to one of the nine clipboard. Press Ctrl+C to copy to the default clipboard, press Ctrl+2…9 to copy to clipboard 2 to 9. The usage of the numerous clipboards is useful for example when you are extending an existing font with your countries special extensions. Just copy every extension to one of the clipboards and place them where ever you need them.

Shortcut: Ctrl + X, Ctrl + Alt + 2…9

Use Edit | Cut to remove all selected objects from your active character editor window and place on one of the nine clipboards.

Name: Paste
Menu: Edit | Paste
Shortcut: Ctrl + V, Ctrl + Shift + 2…9

Use Edit | Paste to paste the content from one of the nine clipboards into your active character editor window.
